Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan consists of fluid, relaxed, and graceful circular movements. Breathing is deepened and slowed, relaxing the bodymind and allowing the life force or 'chi' to flow unimpeded throughout the body. the postures and movements can feel similar to the exertion of moderate walking, or can be strenuous and demanding, depending entirely on the desires, physical characteristics, and skill level of the practitioner.
The Classical system of Tai Chi Chuan most widely taught throughout the world was developed by the Yang Family of the People's Republic of China, and brought to the West in its purest form by the 4th Generation descendant of the Yang Family, Grand Master Yang Zhenduo, the son of Yang Chengfu. As a student of Master Yang for fifteen years, Horacio Lopez maintains the practice of Yang forms according to the highest standards transmitted by Grand Master Yang.
